بررسی رویکرد بین المللی به درمان بیماریهای شایع با استفاده از روشهای مختلف طب مکمل |

مقدمه: امروزه از طب مکمل به طور گسترده در درمان استفاده شده و مقالات زیادی در زمینه فواید آن منتشر گشته، اما مواردی مبنی بر عدم مزایای آن نیز وجود دارند. این عدم توافق لزوم بررسی همه جانبه ای در مورد روشهای مختلف طب مکمل را نشان می‌دهد، که هدف این تحقیق است. مواد و روش ها: تعداد 71468 مقاله مرتبط با طب مکمل چاپ شده از سال 2000 به بعد در سایت‌های pubmed، sciencedirect و springer جستجو و ذخیره شدند. تمامی این مقالات مورد مطالعه قرار گرفته و روشهای مختلف به کار برده شده، بیماریهای مورد درمان گزارش شده، و نتیجه نهایی ذکر شده در مورد اثر درمانی طب مکمل تعیین شدند. یافته های پژوهش: بیماریهای سیستم عصبی و مسائل روانی با 2/24درصد و استفاده از گیاهان با 1/30 درصد موارد به ترتیب شایعترین موضوع مورد درمان و روش مورد استفاده بودند. در مجموع 6/91 درصد مقالات به اثر مثبت ناشی از طب مکمل در درمان اشاره کرده و 8/44 درصد از همین مقالات ذکر شده بر لزوم تحقیقات بیشتر برای تعیین اثر و مکانیزم عمل روشهای طب مکمل تاکید داشتند. بحث و نتیجه گیری: گزارش بسیار مثبت محققان از استفاده از طب مکمل در درمان بیماریهای شایع، لزوم توجه جدی به آموزش روشهای طب مکمل را نشان داده و اختلاف فاحش بین استفاده از روشهای مختلف طب مکمل و بیماریهای مورد درمان، نشان دهنده این است که رویکرد به طب مکمل می‌تواند تابعی از فرهنگ و قومیت باشد. |

Study of International Approaches on Treatment of Common Diseases Using Different Methods of Complementary Medicine |

Abstract Introduction: Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) has recently become a focus of interest in curing patients. Although many studies have been published in the recent years arguing about the effectiveness of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, there are some evidences of side effects of using different methods of Complementary and Alternative Medicine. The aim of this paper was to investigate the effectiveness and side effects of CAM. Materials & methods: We searched the following electronic databases of January 2000 onward: PubMed, Sciencedirect and Springer. Our searching was limited to English language journals and human studies with the keywords: complementary medicine or alternative medicine. Findings: According to this study, we observed that the most commonly used complementary and alternative methods are herbal remedies and the majority of studies are about neurological and psychological diseases. Altogether, 91.6 percent of the published literature implies the effectiveness of using Complementary and Alternative Medicine and 44.8 percent of this literature implies the need for more studies to specify the mechanism of these remedies. Conclusion: With an ever-increasing number of consumers reportedly using non-conventional methods of disease management, medical students have now been recognized as key providers in education on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). The evidence base for CAM is growing but in most areas, it is insufficient for making sound risk/benefit assessments. It is to suggest that further researches are needed to fill all these obvious gaps and necessary financial sources be prepared to accomplish the task. |
